A smock shirt made from tough antique linen.
This is deadstock that was used in France around 1910-20.
Originally a sturdy shirt worn over other clothes to protect them from getting dirty during farm work, it now has delicate and beautiful gathers on the back front, cuffs, and neck, making it both a functional and cute item.
Embroidered "LM" name on the bottom right front.
The buttons are still made of white mother-of-pearl, just like the original.
This is a fun piece to wear as it allows you to show off your bottoms or tights through the slit.
